MOCK RESULTS!

music: Everybody Needs Somebody To Love - Jools Holland
Remember how in December I was complaining I had all those exams? Well, now I've got the results:
English Language: A
English Literature: A
Mathematics: A*
Science, Double Award: A*/A*
Religious Studies: A*
French: A*
ICT (Computers to those unfamiliar): A*
Music Studies: A*
They're all fine and dandy, but one result has to go and screw it up:
Technology: C
Yeah... I hate Tech :( Ah well... went out to Pizza Hut yesterday to celebrate, and Mother ordered me an Individual instead of a Medium... had to pig out on their Big New Yorker to make up for it :P I was hungry... OK?

What the hell should I spend it on?
I've already bought some Curb DVDs so don't suggest those... but I'm up for suggestions for what to spend the rest of the money on.
Ideas?

Happy Birthday Jorfey! Happy New Year to everyone else
Jan. 1st, 2006 | 08:41 pm
Yup... 19's a nice age to be.
Is there anything in the US that you can do at 19 that you ca't do at 18, 'cause it actually seems the same as 18, only it has a 9 at the end instead of an 8.
Didn't think so.
Happy Day anyway.
EDIT: I'm confused... on PC he says he's 17, but on TZ he says he's 19? WHAT THE FRIG ARE YOU?

I'm a spoiled little brat - oh, and merry belated Xmas!
Dec. 26th, 2005 | 07:40 pm
mood:
happy
music: Jools Holland - Where in the World
Copied from my Toon Zone post:
---
Here goes (in no particular order):
iPod Nano
Desperate Housewives Calendar 2006
£85 worth of vouchers and cash ($150 approx)
Murder, She Wrote - Season 2 (DVD)
Curb Your Enthusiasm - Season 1 (DVD)
Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (DVD)
Black Books, Series 1-3 Box Set (DVD)
Mario Kart DS
Leather Chair for Bedroom
Clothes: A shirt and a pair of trousers
Simpsons Dartboard
2 boxes of Celebrations chocolate
1 box of Quality Street chocolate
Wallace and Gromit DVD Game
Terry's Chocolate Orange
Lynx Deoderant Kit
I believe that's it... but if I write anymore anyway, I'll look like I'm some sort of spoiled brat. Although... you probably think I'm already that :P
---
Downloaded approximately 60 songs onto the iPod, which is nothing compared to my cousin who downloaded 300 in the space of an hour... has more money than sense, but whatever. Had two Christmas dinners: 1 today, 1 yesterday, for each of my grandparents visiting, which was nice.
Would have updated yesterday but:
1) Couldn't be bothered
2) Had family over all day
3) Was too busy playing MKDS and listening to iPod
3 perfectly good reasons why I didn't update. Pick your favourite :P
Happy (belated) Christmas/Festivus/Hannukah/Kwanzaa/Nudw uff to everybody!

music: Highway to Hell - Hayseed Dixie
I'm off school for 2 and a half weeks, and I'm thoroughly delighted about it. On my first day though, I'm sorta bored. Mum and Idiot Boy are watching Home Alone 3 - i.e. the crap one, so I decided to come on the Internet.
Apart from that: 4 days till Xmas! W00t!
Highway to Hell by Hayseed Dixie is the best song ever. Go on iTunes or WinMX and you'll see what I mean :D

King Kong
Dec. 14th, 2005 | 08:31 pm
Guess what I'm going to see tomorrow?
Comes out on a Thursday over here, for some strange reason. But, anyway... as Thursday marks the end of my exams (apart from my French Speaking, but that's not a real exam). So, yeah - I'm going to see King Kong!
Have my second English exam, and then I'm FINISHED! At least until Jan 9, where it all starts up again! I hate Year 11.

Am going to see Narnia today, but reviews on the forums I go to have all pointed to it being one big crapfest... Anyone care to add their opinion?
In other news, I'm having my mock exams! Had English Literature, Electronics, Maths Paper 1, Biology and Religious Studies... but the rest are all next week. LUCKY ME!

Try and get all 74!

I managed to get half of my Music class trying to figure them out. Basically, according to Virgin Digital, there are 74 bands in that picture, each held within a cryptic picture of its own. For example, the pink scissors with bows represent the Scissor Sisters. Just use your common sense and people should be able to get them eventually. I've got most of them... but there's about 10 or so I haven't gotten yet.

Yeah, I'm bored

bored
music: Maroon 5 - Harder to Breathe
Most of you should know me by now not to write long posts unless I get really pissed off, and today I'm feeling happy, so it's gonna be another short and sweet entry.
I'm feeling happy.
Come Wednesday, I will have completely finised over half of my coursework.
But soon I won't be happy.
I'll be sitting mock examinations.
But until then:
I'm happy.
I'm trying to see everything in a positive light, as there's no point in worrying about what's going to happen. I don't tempt fate, I just watch it come to me, and ride the wave. OK... weird surfing analogy, but you know what I mean.
---
On the whole forum thing... yeah, definitely in 2006, if at all until I buy myself a HDTV and an XBOX 360 for my room (NO CRAPPY NINTENDOID FANBOY COMMENTS, if you please).
Wait... that was quite a long post. Ah well...

I hate students!
Nov. 26th, 2005 | 09:44 pm
mood:
grumpy
music: None
I really do! I'm going to become one in my later years, but I hope for God I don't turn out like the ones I saw today!
You know those people who think that by protesting, the world will magically change its cause of action at fall suit to the protesters demands? They're the type of students I'm talking about. When I was Christmas shopping today, I saw 3 groups of students:
1) Free Palestine - This weirdo woman with a broken megaphone brainwashing people with words such sa "Ariel Sharon is a Terrorist"
2) Bible Bashers - Outside The Prince Bishops (shopping centre where I live) shunning people away from shops proclaiming all money to be "morally evil"
3) Save the Pandas - The only ones I actually felt sorry for, but the way they were brainwashing people... that's probably what shook me: they were physically interviewing and interrogating people about the dangers facing pandas.
It's surprising that the moment that these weirdos who believe they have the power to change the world graduate from university, they become like the rest of us: cynical people who couldn't care less. I suppose if more people were like students, then the world may be a better place: but we're not. And the sooner those lunatics realise it, the sooner they can accept the fact that it'll take more than a megaphone to change the world

XBOX 360
Nov. 25th, 2005 | 09:00 pm
mood:
curious
I've asked for an XBOX 360 this Christmas, perfectly knowing that I'm not going to get it (I've seen my iPod in my parents' closet - they're crap at hiding things... and I don't think they'd get me an iPod and an XBOX). But I've asked for it just to let them know I'll probably be saving up for it. Obviously it would probably be better if I just said "I'm saving up for an XBOX 360", but it's too late now.
What I'm wanting is you guy's opinions on it. Before I add: NO FREAKIN' FANBOY COMMENTS! I understand that most of the people on my friends list (note that I say MOST and not ALL) are die-hard Nintendoids, so please try and be as unbiased as possible... please?
Apart from that - I HAVE EXAMS IN 2 WEEKS! FEEL FOR ME, FOR GOD'S SAKE!
This has probably been the longest post in a long time... I'm pretty proud of myself :D

I have a week to learn to play Evanescense's My Immortal for piano.
I have a week to find someone to sing the vocals in Evanescense's My Immortal.
I have two weeks to be assessed on this performance.
AAARGH!
In other news, I bought two books today: Life of Pi by Yann Martell, and Vernon God Little by DBC Pierre.
I've finally rekindled my love of literature that the Internet stole from me :P
